Quinn Ewers remains week-to-week with the shoulder injury according to head coach Steve Sarkisian, so it will likely be Maalik Murphy under center again. This game feels like it will be a lot closer than that game. Most of those games have been close with the exception of the 2020 game which ended 69-31. The Longhorns are 8-2 over the last 10 matchups with Kansas State. However, slowing down TCU and Houston is a different animal than the playmakers on the opposite sideline on Saturday. However, Kansas State has looked absolutely dominant winning the last two games by a combined score of 82-3. Texas has had its number over the last decade. To get there, the Wildcats will have to exercise their demons against the Burnt Orange. The defending Big 12 champs are gearing up for another run to the title game.
